Soybean Oil Refinery Plant Process (10~20TPD):
The journey from crude to refined soybean oil involves several stages:
Degumming: This step involves the removal of impurities such as phospholipids, gum, and proteins by introducing hot water or a dilute solution of acid, alkali, or salt into the crude oil. The impurities absorb water, coagulate, and are subsequently separated from the oil.
Deacidification: Alkali is added to neutralize free fatty acids (FFAs), resulting in the formation of fatty acid salt (soap) and water. Impurities are absorbed into the soap, which then sinks and is separated from the oil.
Decolorizing: Adsorbents are utilized to remove pigments and other impurities from the crude oil. The adsorbents, along with the impurities, are filtered out to achieve decolorization and purification.
Deodorizating: This stage eliminates odorous substances from the oil, with vacuum deodorization being the prevalent method in soybean oil refinery plants.
